Role Description

Position Objective :

This role is responsible for supporting the Patient Access team by conducting ongoing monitoring of the Canadian reimbursement lansdcape through analytical assessments and critical appraisals.

By deriving insights and trends from the external environment, internal reimbursement strategies can be shaped and developed.

This role will also support the development of critical components related to health technology assessment and private payer submissions as well as other payer related materials to ultimately secure optimal reimbursement for LEO Pharma products.

Role & Responsibilities :

Reimbursement & Health Outcomes

Engage in ongoing monitoring of the reimbursement landscape and conduct analytical assessments to garner insights

Critically appraise and interpret health outcomes research studies (e.g., clinical trials, health economic analyses)

Support in the identification, assessment, and resolution of relevant reimbursement data gaps

Support in the design and development of health technology assessment (e.g., CDA-AMC and INESSS) and private payer submission components

Support in the development of payer related materials to advance reimbursement strategies

Project Management

Manage market access projects on behalf of the Patient Access team

Support the Patient Access team with administrative processes related to research projects (e.g., contracting and compliance processes)

Track and monitor key project metrics

Communication

Disseminate key learnings and insights to internal audiences through a variety of mediums and settings (written, verbal, formal, informal)

Pharmacovigilance & Compliance with Adverse Events

Recognize that PV cases may come to your knowledge in this role and fulfil the responsibility to forward any adverse event and patient safety cases to the local Pharmacovigilance department in accordance with company policies

General

Ensure compliance with appropriate SOP’s, policies, and guidelines.

Complete mandatory training in assigned timelines upon hire as well as when new policies, SOP's, guidances are issued.

Participate in personal development and training sessions as required for the position.

Work in a safe manner that does not endanger yourself or co-workers. Report any health or safety concerns (internal and external) in compliance with LEO policy and standard procedures.

Strive to consistently uphold LEO Pharma’s core values.

Execute other duties as may be required by Executive team members and other members of LEO Pharma’s Management team as training and experience allow.

Requirements :

Undergraduate degree (or working towards) in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related discipline (advanced degrees an asset)

Understanding of Health Economics, Health Technology Assessment, and the reimbursement landscape in Canada

Ensure compliance with appropriate SOP’s, policies, and guidelines
