JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
GENERAL
- Lead National MACO and Commercial ZBB financials for the organization, including monthly reporting, financial analysis, and forecasting.
- Owner of the national commercial 1YP budgeting process
- Lead a team of 4 employees (2 ZBB Analysts, 1 ZBB Manager, 1 MACO manager) and drive engagement for the broader revenue management commercial Finance team
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization leveraging existing solutions and support from zone development teams
- Support on Ad hoc deep dive requests on both MACO and ZBB for ELT presentations
- Owner of Commercial ZBB budgets (Sales Package, Trade Marketing, Overhead Packages) representing +100M of spend
- Responsible for month end reporting routine, ensuring costs are reflected and accounted for properly as per accounting guidelines
- Understand and explain variances vs. LE and vs. BU across all packages to Finance and Control
- Work with regional package owners to forecast spend on a monthly basis
- Monitor and cascade challenges based on business performance
- Consolidate risk and opportunities across each package and work with RVP’s to identify actions to deliver budget
- Build 1 year plan during budget cycle, rolling up all regional ZBB asks and making decisions to deliver expectations
MACO
- Owner and enabler of national reporting routine on MACO.
- Collaborate with regional rate / pricing managers to understand MACO / hL performance drivers during month end close, explaining mix vs.
rate impact to our P&L on a monthly basis.
- Conduct VILC standard reconciliation to ensure commercial costs are allocated as per budget plan.
- Build national MACO forecast on a monthly basis, understanding MACO / hL variances vs. budget and prior forecast
- Build performance review presentations for and ELT on MACO and NSV deep dives
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Mandatory Degree in related field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably complemented with Back-Office experience
- Financial Management need to have strong understanding how Labatt P&L works, understand mix and rate impacts, accruals, ZBB packages.
- Stakeholder management candidate will work closely with a large group of stakeholders across the business including sales, finance, supply.
Needs to feel comfortable working cross functionally and dealing with ambiguity.
Problem solving ability to take a problem and break into multiple components and develop action plans to address
