Job Description

You are a territory manager with expertise in the construction field and experience in selling to OEMs.Join this steel processing company, highly recognized in its field of activity! You will be primarily responsible for customer relations in the assigned territory, in order to finalize and close sales in collaboration with the various departments of the company.

As part of a team and reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for : Maximize sales opportunities with a portfolio of existing customers and develop new market segments to ensure that financial objectives are met.

Determine customer needs by demonstrating knowledge of the industry, pricing and competition, and develop effective and appropriate proposals for the customer.

Participate in submissions with various clients and contacts and ensure the monitoring of opportunities and projects.Be able to position yourself in the market and create strong partnerships with key accounts by dealing with various types of managers.

Analyze and understand the competitive landscape, product and market dynamics, and share these findings with the group.Work closely with other team members to find the best strategies and ensure good links with the group.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and networking activities to increase brand awareness and generate opportunities.

Produce a monthly sales report, analyze variances, revise directions and strategies, as necessary, to achieve results. You will work within a company present in North America, a leader in its field of activity enjoying an excellent reputation and offering a variety of quality products for more than 35 years.

Opportunities to grow and move into a sales management position. A base salary starting from $80, and a commission program.

3 weeks of vacation. Location : Greater Montreal Your qualifications BAC (Ideal) or DEC in business administration or related field.

5 years of experience in sales of construction, siding and steel products.Sales experience with a manufacturing, technical and demanding clientele.

Ability to present a value proposition, argue and negotiate prices.Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all decision-making levels.

Equipped with a strategic mind but also be able to ensure the execution of deliverables.Demonstrates autonomy and knowledge of computer programs (CRM).

Must have a valid driver’s license.Intermediate English.
