We are looking for a Change Analyst to support the IT department at Aviva.
The selected candidate will support the delivery of Aviva Canada’s Change Portfolio as it relates to technology including transitioning projects and programs to BAU and ensuring appropriate risk & control is in place.

What you’ll do :
Provide leadership, input and expertise to support technical delivery programs and projects ensure business, technology and operational readiness for key projects across Aviva Canada before, during and after deployments and changes, this includes forming & supporting :
Technology change management plans
Robust communications strategy
Learning and development strategies
Identification and updating processes & procedures
Providing support to establish and monitor key performance indicators and ensure these underpin critical decision-making, applying the standard models, tools and processes as it relates to supporting IT change initiatives
Proactive issues management around people, process and technology impacts of IT change across the IT department and where applicable the business
Delivery of integrated plan to support safe delivery of change including coordination activities as required working alongside project team members
Act as an Aviva Change Framework champion, and provide assurance over the IT change portfolio that the framework is being adhered to
Reporting support : producing analysis around the IT Change Portfolio to provide assurance on the change activity
Proactive Risk management; assistance with Risk workshops & facilitation of other workshops as appropriate; Identify, own and manage the specific key risks and / or IT controls
Report and escalate the status of the relevant risks, controls and standards as appropriate
Support the AVP, Strategic Initiatives with other ad hoc work as needed (inc. defining the change strategy and reporting)
What you’ll bring :
Experience of large-scale organizational change, considering customer, market and internal factors (within technology or IT a bonus)
Proven problem-solving skills
Excellent written and presentation communication skills
Good awareness of risk, control & governance requirements and ideally have worked in a highly regulated environment
Comfortable in a complex / ambiguous environment, working at pace and at times to tight deadlines
Ability to build strong relationships with both peers and senior partners
Ability to manage both complexity and volume of demand
Understanding of the Canada business areas and marketplace
Understanding of the risks faced by technology and the controls in place to manage and mitigate these risks
Resilient to challenge at the most senior level whilst building and maintaining relationships
Appropriate professional and Higher Education qualifications
