Pedagogical Eurythmy Teacher 2024-2025
The Nelson Waldorf School is currently seeking applications for full time Pedagogical Eurythmy Teacher for grades 1 to 9.
Positions available for the 2024-2025 school year, with the contract beginning in August 2024.
The Eurythmy teacher should have a passion for Waldorf education and should inspire the love of learning in children and youth.
Key qualities are strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
With the responsibility of carrying a class of up to 24 students, the successful candidate will have excellent class management and organizational skills.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and certified eurythmy teacher, who has the energy, commitment, and vitality for working with children of various ages.
Qualifications and Responsibilities
Eurythmy Bachelor’s degree
Successful experience teaching different age groups
Contribute to festivals and class plays
Reports to : Principal of School
Terms of Employment : Permanent, full-time; $53,508.50 to $72,771.56 plus benefits (health, disability, life insurance and tuition) and increments for related experience.
Education and Skill Requirements :
BC Teacher Certification
Completed Waldorf Teacher Training with a clear understanding of Rudolf Steiner’s education and philosophy will be preferred or willingness to take the Waldorf training.
