Our valued client is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to ensure processes and supporting systems meet business stakeholder needs
An initial 6-month contract, possible extension. Hybrid work model in Ottawa, ON (2 days a week on site).
Reporting to the Team Leader, Application Support and Modernization, you will ensure that the processes and supporting systems continues to meet business stakeholder needs.
You will be a key liaison between the line-of-business staff, which performs the process work manually or in conjunction with automated systems, and the technical Information Technology and Management (IT / IM) staff, that implements solutions.
You will collaborate with peers throughout the organization as well as with external vendors in solution and application development, project management, and delivery of technology services.
You will support the business process owner allowing them to make better decisions about changing processes to drive higher performance outcomes consistently.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze and make recommendations;
- Establish priorities, organize work to meet tight deadlines and work with limited supervision;
- Aadapt to a fast-paced environment and changing priorities;
- Document detailed business and technical requirements;
- Interact with vendors and contractors to obtain deliverables;
- Communicate effectively in writing and orally.
Must Have Skills :
- 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience implementing ERP systems
- Bilingual in French and English - Intermediate Level (BBB)
- Experience / knowledge of project management methodologies
Nice to Have Skills :
- Knowledge of corporate applications such as MS Dynamics AX, Microsoft D or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Enterprise Asset Management systems and HR Information Systems such as PeopleSoft.
- Knowledge of Financial processes.
