We are currently recruiting for a passionate, strategic leader who is self-motivated and goal oriented to fill the position of District Sales Manager, BC .

The Role :
The role of the District Sales Manager, BC is responsible for implementing the organization's sales strategy by coaching / developing the BC sales execution team and overseeing all elements of execution.
They will ensure that their reps are set up to succeed in every channel : on premise and retail.
The position’s objective is to coach / lead field sales representatives into profitable growth. They will work closely with each rep to ensure the reps have a strong understanding of the strategy, understanding of their customers, and ability to execute the strategic needs of the business.
What you will be doing :
- Lead a sales team; coaching and developing them to foster a culture of trust, accountability, openness, and a ruthless drive to results.
- Manage the communication flow to the field sales force through regular meetings, emails, phone calls, text messages.
- Plan, develop and champion the execution of the sales strategy.
- Work with sales reps to ensure they are profitability growing their territories.
- Ensure team has the ability and knowledge to effectively use all reporting tools. Salesforce, Concur, etc.
- Ensure team has the ability and knowledge to effectively manage a budget to grow their territories.
- Work with your team to develop and execute an annual territory plan and key customer development plans.
- Develop / employ and share tactics to achieve profitable customer growth.
- Track, assess and share results internally.
- Create and deliver quarterly presentations, ensuring the field sales execution direction is in line with sales strategy.
- Review account coverage / service model on an ongoing basis to ensure we are optimally deployed to deliver our business objectives.
- Work closely with Key Account Managers to ensure your team has the knowledge to be successful in the different types of retail customers.
- Ensure the team is effectively managing T&E budgets.
- Communicate regularly on marketplace dynamics / competitive pressures / promotional effectiveness internally.
What you bring :
- A University Degree or Comparable (Primary Focus on Business, Sales and / or Marketing).
- A track record of success in a similar role.
- Experience in the beverage alcohol industry an asset.
- WSET or ISG Certification an asset.
- Strong wine product knowledge and understanding of BC beverage alcohol industry.
- Proven Experience or Certification in sales skills and negotiation.
- Strong analytical skills, and polished presentation abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proven problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with customers and peers.
- Results oriented, self-motivated, driven and disciplined.
- Computer literacy, including the ability to create and modify PowerPoint presentations, Word and Excel documents as well as effectively utilize web-based tools and resources.
- Proof of valid Driver’s License will be required.
- Genuine interest and passion for the beverage alcohol industry
- Must be able to lift wine cases weighing up to 45 pounds

Compensation : Budgeted Range ($81,632.00- $105,642.00) The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements.
