THE JOB : Manager, Provincial PCN Initiative
The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.
Starting Salary Range : $92,077 - $115,096
Reporting to the Director, Partnerships & Collaboration, the Manager will provide strategic and operational direction and guidance and issues management support related to planning and implementing Primary Care Networks.
Additionally, the Manager will lead the development and coordination of information, tools and structures in alignment with the FPSC Primary Care Network Knowledge Exchange Strategy.
The Manager will be responsible to guide the work of their team, fostering strong working relationships with the Ministry of Health primary care implementation, policy and finance teams.
The Manager will also work closely with FPSC colleagues related to programs and initiatives that intersect with Primary Care Networks.

WHAT YOU BRING
A Bachelor’s degree and / or recognized professional designation, and up to six years of progressive and related experience;
or an equivalent level of related work experience and specialized training in lieu of post-secondary education. Project management designation an asset.
- Requires advanced knowledge of a specific discipline in the health, not-for-profit, government or business sector and operational knowledge in the area of expertise.
- Proven ability to understand cross-department impact and provide significant input and recommendations regarding the department plan and strategies.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify issues, gathers facts and resolves operational problems.
- Ability to collaborate with Director and other leaders in the organization to resolve strategic issues.
- Experience in managing a wide variety of projects as opportunities arise from normal department operations and may be sought for input in areas of expertise.
- Responsible for making decisions on performance and hiring for the team.
- Ability to work in a constantly changing landscape while meeting project deadlines and deliverables as position has direct impact on the team and may impact the entire organization.
- Experience with stakeholder relations and managing teams in complex systems.
- Project and budget management experience, including experience with planning, evaluation, performance measurement, and change management strategies.
- Excellent financial management skills and high financial literacy.
- Effective writing skills and proven ability to develop clear and concise communication
- Excellent computer skills required, including demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Flexibility to accommodate early morning and evening meetings, as required.
