PLATO has offices on or near Indigenous communities across Canada, in Fredericton, Sault Ste Marie, Ottawa / Gatineau, Regina, Prince Albert, Calgary, and Vancouver.

We are currently seeking a Business Development Executive. The successful applicant will be responsible for generating revenue growth through new business opportunities, building relationships with current and new clients and leading key partner relationships in the Alberta region.

ResponsibilitiesMature and execute PLATO's Alberta growth strategyManage new-client and base-customer growth across enterprise and government accountsManage &

grow key business partner relationshipsParticipate in industry networking eventsMaintains ownership of all phases of the sales cycleResponsible for the upkeep and accuracy of CRM dataLead on strategic proposalsWork with the marketing team on strategy / activity in the regionMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activitiesShare market feedback and customer insights with internal teams to improve services and offeringsStay updated on industry best practices and sales techniquesParticipate in training and professional development programs as requiredQualificationsMinimum 10 years' experience selling IT services to enterprise and public sector clients in Alberta, with a preference for experience in the Alberta resources sectorExperience finding, developing and closing managed service or managed capacity contractsProven track record as a Business Development Lead achieving sales objectives and targetsExperience using Microsoft 365 and CRM software to manage customer interactionsExperience with strategic planning, business management, and successful negotiationAbout PLATOWho We ArePLATO is a software testing and technology services company trusted by clients around the world.
