Are you a recent graduate looking to start your career in communications? This full-time, 6-month Communications Assistant contract (with the potential to become permanent) might be the perfect fit.
We’re looking for a bilingual (English & French) candidate with a passion for the film industry, available to work Monday to Friday in Ottawa ( 35 hours / week ) on a hybrid schedule three days in-office and two days remote.

About you
You should bring :
- Experience in communications, marketing, or admin, ideally in film / production
- Proficiency in website management (WordPress, HTML / CSS), social media, and MS Office
- Bilingualism in French and English (required)
- Graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite) are an asset
- Strong written / verbal communication and ability to prioritize effectively
- Familiarity with film / production industry terms, processes, and stakeholders
- Availability for occasional travel to industry events or meetings
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
About the role
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for :
- Update and manage website content, ensuring accuracy and troubleshooting issues
- Create and schedule social media posts while engaging with followers
- Assist in developing marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials
- Track and analyze marketing metrics, providing insights and recommendations
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence management
- Draft, proofread, and edit communications materials for clarity and consistency
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external communications
