Role Responsibilities

As the Project and Issues Coordinator you will work with a variety of stakeholders, within Compensation Service Delivery and across Government to operationalize and implement compensation projects, such as creation of an e-transfer process, that impact a variety of stakeholders, review and identify process improvements on re-occurring projects and develop / enhance reporting.

In addition, the position will require excellent verbal and written communication skills as you will be required to research, write / review correspondence and briefings, ensuring the message and information in each briefing is accurate, responsive, and consistent with all other ministry communications (both internal and external) using plain language.

To be successful in this role, you must possess :

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and collaborate with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Time management and organizational skills while working on multiple interrelated projects with multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines.
  • Strong project planning skills
  • Excellent written communication and strong attention to detail for generating recommendations and briefings for the Public Service Commissioner.
