Our physical headquarters is located just steps from Toronto Union Station. We operate on a permanent, flexible hybrid-working model with essential in-person time currently limited to monthly team meetings or in-person client meetings.
What You’d Be Up To
The Director, Media Planning & Strategy role is one in which you will take leadership over both a roster of key clients and the growth of a Media Planner.
You will lead the client's media strategy and plans, being responsible for effective management of both your and your direct report’s work.
You will also represent the planning team in high-level internal and client communications, including statuses, reporting, and campaign briefings.
You will be accountable for the strategic direction and overseeing execution within your accounts, ensuring our clients achieve outstanding results.
The Work & Your Opportunity To Grow
You will be responsible for leading and innovating at each stage of Other.’s proprietary methodology for maximizing performance for paid media campaigns.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Leading and managing the media planning component of key client relationships, and being ultimately responsible for proactively making media recommendations to hit client KPIs
- Providing strategic guidance to your clients and ensuring all deliverables are executed on-time and at a high level of quality
- Representing the media planning team in client-facing communications, including briefings, statuses, deliverables, and presentations
- Leading the development of complex media plans with support from junior team members, forecasting results, and providing detailed points of view when needed
- Overseeing end-to-end execution, ensuring a high level of accuracy and rigor when working with partners
- Proactively analyzing performance and collaborating across departments to optimize plans to achieve client KPIs
- Bring forward proactive opportunities for clients and contribute to upsells to drive both the company’s and client’s businesses forward
- Generating and communicating key program insights and actions directly to clients
- Understanding the company's vision, department strategy and immediate business needs.
- Overseeing day-to-day work, monitoring team utilization, and identifying areas for individual growth and development. Handling scheduling and resourcing efficiently
- Providing strategic guidance and prioritizing day-to-day tasks for junior team members
- Mentoring and developing junior team members, offering career development opportunities and actionable feedback
