Ourclient in the insurance industry is seeking a skilled professionalfor a temporary role to cover a maternity leave. The position maybe upgraded to Financial Analyst III for candidates withsignificant experience in Fund Accounting Fund Oversight or relatedFund Operations.
The successful candidate will oversee outsourcedNAV operations ensuring accuracy mitigating risk and collaboratingwith internal and external partners in a fastpacedenvironment.

14monthcontract with the potential for permanentemployment.
Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.
Weekdayschedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
Hybrid work : 3 office days from Tuesday toThursday.

Responsibilities :
Oversee daily activities related to Net Asset Values (NAVs)outsourced to NAV Agent partners.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies within oversight tools within24 hours of NAV publication engaging with internal teams andexternal partners as needed.
Ensure archived financial data packages meet auditstandards.
Use judgement and riskmitigation strategies to prioritize tasks and resolve complexissues proactively.
Exhibit athorough understanding of fund accounting principles helping toidentify and address potential financial or reputational risks tothe company and its investors.
Collaborate with various teams to enhance overall processes whileadhering todeadlines.
Whatyou will need tosucceed :
Bachelor s degree in Finance orAccounting.
CGA CMA CA CPA or CFA(candidate) designation(nicetohave).
24 years ofrelevant experience in the investmentindustry.
Strong knowledge ofinformation systems and Microsoft Officesuite.
Experience in fundaccounting or investmentadministration.
Knowledge ofsecurities instruments foreign exchange reconciliation investmentaccounting and fund reporting.
Excellent analytical and problemsolvingskills.
Strong teamwork andindependent work abilities.
Highlevel of attention to detail andaccuracy.
Ability to adaptquickly handle tight deadlines and manage changeeffectively.
Strong communicationand interpersonalskills.
