Responsibilities : Portfolio Engagement
Portfolio Engagement
Build trusting, positive, dynamic relationships with portfolio leadership, technology leads, and other members of the venture'
s team; develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the venture's industry, sector, region, and context in which they operate.
Develop and maintain an understanding of technology and talent support offerings available to the foundation portfolio;
Support the deployment of offerings to the portfolio as needed.
- Facilitate communications with portfolio to coordinate key milestone check-ins and engagement scoping opportunities.
- Serve as a strategic matchmaker between portfolio ventures and best-fit support that would deliver the highest value for the venture and company.
- Document recommendations and outcomes via partnership success plans that leverage the deployment of our in-kind support.
Operational Success
- Enable a portfolio-centric approach by documenting and updating key partnership resources and internal systems (.PPTs, CRMs, Excel files, AirTable, etc.)
- Capture and document feedback from completed engagements to evaluate the success and key outcomes of technology & talent support.
- Surface insights and trends to our foundation team and broader community to support important activities such as impact measurement, communications, storytelling, award nominations, and other opportunities to create or add value.
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience providing support to entrepreneurs, social impact innovators, ventures, or nonprofits, etc.
- Passion and previous work experience related to sustainability and social impact issues such as climate change and workforce development.
- Entrepreneur / innovator service mindset, committed to being responsive and supportive to portfolio needs, prioritizing to achieve stated outcomes.
- Driven, eager team player, with desire to always learn and improve.
- Familiarity with data management tools such as Fluxx, Airtable, HubSpot, Microsoft Excel .
