Matchbox Consulting is on the hunt for Industrial Site Superintendents for upcoming projects in the Fraser Valley! Our client is leading construction company specializing in industrial developments.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans, ensuring efficient project execution.
  • Produce schedules and monitor crew attendance to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Allocate general and daily responsibilities to subcontractors and site staff.
  • Supervise and train workers and tradespeople, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
  • Manage manpower and resources effectively to maintain project efficiency.
  • Guarantee that all safety precautions and quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supervise the use of machinery and equipment, ensuring proper operation and maintenance.
  • Monitor project expenditure and ensure it remains within budgetary constraints.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any problems or issues that arise during construction.
  • Regularly report on project progress to management, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in construction site supervision.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to read blueprints and manage subcontractors effectively.
  • Technical background in concrete tilt-up construction is an asset.
