Matchbox Consulting is on the hunt for Industrial Site Superintendents for upcoming projects in the Fraser Valley! Our client is leading construction company specializing in industrial developments.

Responsibilities :
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans, ensuring efficient project execution.
- Produce schedules and monitor crew attendance to ensure project timelines are met.
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities to subcontractors and site staff.
- Supervise and train workers and tradespeople, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage manpower and resources effectively to maintain project efficiency.
- Guarantee that all safety precautions and quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment, ensuring proper operation and maintenance.
- Monitor project expenditure and ensure it remains within budgetary constraints.
- Proactively identify and resolve any problems or issues that arise during construction.
- Regularly report on project progress to management, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Requirements :
- Proven experience in construction site supervision.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ability to read blueprints and manage subcontractors effectively.
- Technical background in concrete tilt-up construction is an asset.
