Position Overview

Are you a student or recent graduate eager to apply your skills in a unique, fast-paced environment? Join our Performance Improvement team at BDM.

We are seeking a motivated individual in Finance , Engineering , or Business who is excited to contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support the Business Improvement team in identifying and implementing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize processes.
  • Assist in the analysis and interpretation of data to drive decision-making for performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mining operations, logistics, procurement, and safety departments, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work on cost-benefit analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessments related to operational changes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement workshops and contribute innovative ideas for enhancing mine operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing progress and key findings.
  • Support project management efforts, ensuring that improvement initiatives are executed within timelines and budgets.

Qualifications :

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Finance , Engineering , or Business program.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an asset.
  • Willingness to work in a remote location at least once per month.
