We provide land acquisition, geospatial mapping, data management, web-based GIS, community relations, land feasibility studies, and permitting services.

Canacre’s clients include developers, large scale service providers, and government entities that are involved in the planning and development of energy projects, rights of way, resources, and infrastructure across Canada and the United States.

Canacre works on large-scale wind and solar power projects, high-voltage transmission lines, pipeline projects, municipal roads projects, and groupings of cellular towers and rooftop antennas.

Our vision is to foster an environment that promotes inspired and empowered team members who make an impact. The Technical Writer will plan, write, and edit operating procedures to improve program and project management related processes.

The Technical Writer supports the administration and continuous improvement of Canacre’s processes through document management and administration, assessment reviews and audits.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Assist with the development of quality control plans for departments Maintain index of document version history for all documents placed under document control Assist with the development and editing of Canacre documents (e.

g., policies, processes, guidelines, etc.) to align with strategic objectives Assist with formatting of Canacre documents (e.

g., policies, processes, guidelines, reference documents, manuals, templates, forms, templates, etc.) Develop detailed project / work plan templates, flow charts and track progress Proofread and edit, upon request, documentation created by various departments within the Company according to resource availability and time constraints Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS : Education Bachelor's degree specializing in English, Business, project management, quality management, or related field.

Experience Minimum 3 years experience as a technical writer Previous experience in consulting or construction industries is considered an asset Programming or MadCap skills considered an asset Knowledge / Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge of quality management systems and processes Excellent attention to detail Highly motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Suite : Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, and Teams At Canacre, our benefits program is one of the ways in which we reinforce the value we place on employees and the role they play in helping us achieve our goals.
