Job Description
As an Account Manager, your goals will be to develop and nurture genuine client relationships and to identify qualified candidates.
This role will rely on your instincts to understand our clients' roles and requirements, and our candidates’ career objectives, qualifications and skills.
It will call on your superb customer service skills to bring all parties together and to treat others with respect and care.
This position requires business development skills on the phone, in-person, and in written presentation.
Your main responsibilities will include but may not be limited to :
Client Growth & Retention
- Actively engaging with prospective clients and responsible for expanding our presence in the IT marketplace
- Identifying new clients and business opportunities to pursue
- Calling into former clients to assess current business needs
- Holding regular sales calls and sales meetings (in person and virtually) to engage existing client base as well as new prospects
- Building and maintaining current and detailed organizational charts
- Mushrooming existing users to generate new business and grow sales
- Utilizing LinkedIn and other resources to identify prospects and set up meetings
- Preparing and delivering presentations on staffing services
- Listening and drawing out the concerns and problems of clients to identify staffing solutions
- Negotiating and closing deals; handling complaints or objections
- Retaining clients by providing superior customer service and consultative staffing support
- Ensuring we don’t miss opportunities for new business with existing accounts
- Cross-selling and introducing existing clients to additional relevant business lines
- Showcasing our value and expertise by marketing top talent to clients
- Preparing and reporting on goals, sales, and prospects
- Participating in virtual and in person networking events and conferences on behalf of the company
Service Delivery
- Developing comprehensive candidate presentations for clients
- Candidate validation and onboarding (references, background checks, contracts)
- Resolving any potential issues that come up throughout the placement process (Health & Safety, Human Rights, etc.)
- Conducting after placement service calls and visits with both candidates and clients
- Holding quarterly meetings with top clients
- Adhering to our high level of service standards and delivery
Qualifications & Experience :
- 2+ years of direct experience within either sales, business development and / or account management
- Prior experience working within an outreach driven seat and enjoys cold outreach
- You are customer obsessed and passionate about identifying, growing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Consultative by nature with the ability to build trusting and lasting relationships
- You are a driven professional who is self-motivated for achieving and exceeding individual and team goals
- Focused on driving client / candidate success and delivering the ultimate client / candidate experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines
- Natural curiosity about people, their backgrounds and experience
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Technical aptitude in the use of business software
