About the role

The Developer - Technology provides input to the design, development and implementation of software systems and technologies.

What you will be doing

Key AccountabilitiesDesigns and develops dynamic, responsive and interactive web / hybrid mobile applications. Translates requirements, wireframes and conceptual designs into high quality, visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces and user experiences.

Creates clear, consistent, easy to use APIs. Integrates with backend infrastructure (data, applications, services). Analyses and solves problems across all levels of the stack (Client, Network, API Layer, Server, Database, OS).

Produces clean, secure, testable, maintainable, reusable, well-documented code, and participate in regular code reviews.

Unit-tests code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Works closely with Product Owner on data-driven product development : analytics, A / B testing, etc.

Works closely with QA on bug fixing and improving application performance. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security and user experience.

Continuously discovers, evaluates, and implements new tools and technologies to maximize development efficiency. Follows Agile development methodology and DevOps practices.

What you will bring

BAND F PEOPLE LEADER

• Minimum 7 years experience post qualification.
• Experience leading a team, including building a collaborative approach.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement.
• Ability to plan, influence & execute.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders.

BAND F TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

• Minimum 3 to 6 years experience post qualification.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement.
• Ability to plan, influence & execute.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders.

Role dependent - technical & / or functional business system applications required for tasks (e.g. SAP, SF, Concur, analytics / visualisation tools, engineering software, etc.)

Your qualifications

Insert tertiary qualification required for role (e.g. Accountant must have a tertiary degree in an Accounting discipline, an Engineer must have a tertiary degree in an Engineering discipline)

Technical qualification / legistlative / SHES certification
