Senior Full-Stack Developer (AI Projects) [BHJOB13022_13476]

On behalf of our Public Sector client, we are recruiting for a Full-Stack Developer (AI Projects)

Summary of the Role :

This opportunity is for two experienced, motivated full-stack developers with expertise in emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Blockchain.

These roles support the Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS) Department by developing rapid prototypes, optimizing technology solutions, and increasing efficiency through innovative applications.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and test rapid prototypes (Proof of Concepts) to explore the potential of advanced technologies in diverse projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement solutions, focusing on productivity gains, cost reduction, and system stability.
• Support agile development and DevOps practices, contributing to the team’s Kanban and Scrum activities.
• Partner with various stakeholders to align solutions with broader organizational technology goals.

Core Requirements :

• 4+ years of technology experience with the following :
• 3+ years as a full-stack software developer, proficient in front-end and back-end development.
• 2+ years working with agile practices, DevOps, and Azure cloud experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks, including Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch), C#, .NET Core, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience with front-end frameworks like Blazor, Angular, React, or Vue.
• 1+ year working with emerging technologies, including large language models (LLMs), generative AI, ML, NLP, and Azure AI services.

Desired Skills & Experience :

• Experience integrating AI into software, such as chatbots, recommendation systems, or predictive analytics.
• Knowledge in deploying AI / ML models using REST APIs or platforms like TensorFlow Serving.
• Familiarity with Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, and integrating AI services into CI / CD pipelines.

Terms :

These are 12-month contract positions with the potential for extension, based on a hybrid work model. The roles require onsite presence at the client’s office in Richmond, BC (6951 Westminster Highway) between 3 times per week and 3 times per month, with remote work allowed on remaining days.

Successful candidates will be required to provide references at the time of the interview and undergo a background check upon offer.
