Position : Automotive Electronic Accessory Technician

Location : Ontario

Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Automotive Electronic Accessory Technician to join our team in Canada. This position requires a proficient understanding of automotive electronics and the installation of electronic accessories.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with various automotive electronic components and a strong appreciation for quality workmanship.

You will play a key role in enhancing the functionality and aesthetics of vehicles by installing high-quality electronic accessories.

Key Responsibilities :

Installation & Repair : Install, maintain, and repair automotive electronic accessories such as audio systems, navigation units, security systems, and other convenience features.

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting : Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in vehicles, providing effective and timely solutions.

Quality Control : Ensure all installations and repairs meet industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and safety protocols.

Workplace Organization : Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

Record Keeping : Create and maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and any issues addressed during installations and repairs.

Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns effectively and professionally.

Continuous Learning : Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in automotive electronics to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in automotive electronics or related fields are preferred.

Experience : 2-4 years of hands-on experience in automotive electronics and accessory installation.

Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and diagnostic tools, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.

Problem-Solving Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess and fix issues.

Teamwork & Independence : Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Attention to Detail : Strong focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail in every installation and repair.

Communication Skills : Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset, ensuring effective interactions with clients and colleagues.
