Industry : Appliance Repair & Maintenance

Hours required : 6,000 hours

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team in Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances.

Key Responsibilities :

Diagnose & Troubleshoot : Identify and diagnose appliance malfunctions, including issues with refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and more.

Repairs & Maintenance : Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure appliances are functioning properly.

Customer Service : Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs, service options, and timelines. Provide clear and professional explanations of the work being done.

Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of services performed, including parts used, time spent on each job, and any customer feedback.

Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working in customers' homes to ensure safe service delivery.

Stay Current : Keep up-to-date with the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques to ensure high-quality service.

Inventory Management : Assist in ordering and maintaining inventory of parts and tools to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience : 1-3 years of experience in appliance repair or a related field.

Skills : Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks, excellent customer service and communication skills.

Licensing : Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Adaptability : Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and repair techniques.
