Core Competencies and Skills Required

  • Must have a 4-position CWB Welding ticket and S & T ticket or provide proof of having passed four-position CWB and S & T Ticket.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a 6-G position P1 Stick ticket or other materials as required.
  • Must have one of the following along with relevant experience : Welder (456A) or (456P) Construction Boilermaker (428A) Steamfitter(307A) Metal Fabricator (Fitter) (437A)
  • A valid Gas ticket would be an asset.
  • Must have an understanding of all tools and equipment utilized in the trade and all related safety practices relative to the trade.
  • Must have a minimum of Grade 12 education.
  • Successful applicants must be able and willing to work on a rotating shift schedule.
