Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our skilled team in Canada . If you have a solid background in various welding techniques (including MIG, TIG, and arc welding) and have a passion for precision and quality craftsmanship, we want you to be part of our team.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects while ensuring top-notch workmanship and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities :

Blueprint & Technical Drawing Interpretation :

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements and project scope.

Welding Operations :

Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, arc, and other welding techniques to fabricate and repair metal components in a variety of materials.

Weld Inspection :

Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making adjustments as needed to achieve the desired results.

Metal Cutting & Shaping :

Cut, shape, and assemble metal components as required for specific projects or repairs.

Repairs & Fabrication :

Repair damaged metal structures, machinery, and equipment while ensuring high levels of precision and durability.

Workplace Safety :

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, strictly following safety protocols and best practices to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working space.

Team Collaboration :

Collaborate effectively with other team members, including engineers, fabricators, and supervisors, to meet project goals, timelines, and quality standards.

Record Keeping :

Keep detailed records of work performed, including welding processes, materials used, and any issues or solutions encountered during fabrication or repair.

Requirements :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant technical training in welding is an asset.

Experience : 2-4 years of hands-on welding experience in a professional setting, with strong proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.

Technical Skills : In-depth knowledge of welding techniques, safety practices, and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols accurately.

Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.

Teamwork & Independence : Ability to work independently, yet also collaborate effectively as part of a team to meet project goals and deadlines.

Certifications :

Welding certifications (e.g., CWB , AWS , or equivalent) are a plus , demonstrating expertise and commitment to high standards in the field.
