Our client is a leading provider of mobile internet optimization solutions that help telecom operators to improve network efficiency, speed and optimize video traffic.
They are looking for a Professional Services Engineer with about 5 yrs experience. This is a remote, home office based position. Responsibilities :
The Professional Services Engineer is a key role in the Professional Services (PS)
organization and is responsible for defining, implementing, customizing, integrating,
testing, training and handing over to customers a solution based on
standardized commercialized products and any required 3rd-party components on customer site or remotely
Resolve time critical deployment and production issues
Work according to methods, procedures, tools and policies to ensure high-quality
service is delivered to the customersRequirements :
Experience with customer facing activities in an international environment
Knowledgeable in customer support processes, tooling and troubleshooting
Knowledge in networking : TCP / IP, switching, routing Must
Experience with Linux / Unix based systems Must
Experience with VM environments, NFV and KVM Must
Experience in the mobile and Telco markets (working with telco providers) Must
Experience with Cisco equipment, holding relevant certificates (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE,
CCDE, etc.) advantage
Experience with load balancers advantage
Knowledge in mobile web application advantage
Excellent communications skills in English (read and write)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
BSc / BA degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years’ experience as a Field Support / PS Engineer, Customer Service Engineer
International work experience and cultural awareness an advantage
Travel to customer sites according to the needs up to 30%
