About the Role :
In this role, you will be the go-to expert for managing and administering employee benefits programs, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and seamless service delivery.
You’ll also support the analytical aspects of the compensation process, contributing valuable insights that help shape our client’s compensation programs.

Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary contact for employees’ benefit, leave, and pension inquiries, delivering outstanding client service and support across all areas.
- Oversee the administration of group benefits and retirement plans, ensuring data integrity across HRIS and with service providers.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding benefit activities, ensuring accurate employee elections and dependent data across systems.
- Reconcile and process monthly premium invoices, working closely with service providers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Update employee deductions, coverage amounts, and process premium adjustments as needed.
- Educate employees on benefit programs, preparing clear and engaging materials to enhance understanding and utilization.
- Guide beneficiaries through entitlements, responsibilities, and required documentation.
- Act as a primary resource for employees, managers, business partners, and case managers in managing leaves of absence, including Disability, Worker’s Compensation, and Maternal / Parental leaves.
- Guide employees through each step, answer inquiries, and ensure all leave-related documentation is accurate and complete.
- Maintain accurate records on all employee leaves and prepare both regular and ad hoc reports to support workforce planning and compliance.
- Collaborate with payroll to coordinate maternity and parental leave top-up payments, ensuring timely processing of all leave-related adjustments.
- Calculate and reconcile benefit premium payments for employees on leave.
You’ll also contribute to the analytical side of compensation :
- Support the year-end compensation cycle by conducting data analysis, reporting, and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Conduct ad hoc compensation analyses, assisting in the development and refinement of compensation strategies throughout the year.
- Prepare materials and data summaries for presentations to senior leadership, conduct job analysis to support market survey submissions, interpret results, and share insights with business and HR teams.
- Perform quantitative analysis and scenario modeling to evaluate and enhance the competitiveness of total rewards offerings.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in benefits administration and compensation analysis.
- Progress toward CEBS or CCP designation is an asset.
- Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency in Word and other Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong analytical skills with a critical-thinking approach to benefits and compensation processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and client service skills, with a proven commitment to building strong relationships.
