Key Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to recipe / portion expectations.
• Responsible for presentation and garnishing.
• Lead others by example and deliver extraordinary service and food.
• Prepare and properly garnishe food orders as they are received in accordance with recipes and proper plate presentation.
• Supports team members to achieve optimum quality.
• Follows proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices at all times.
• Ensures close down in accordance with departmental procedures and standards.

What You Bring

• Two or more years in a cook position or extensive culinary experience.
• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent education is an asset.
• Solid understanding of meat, starch, sauces, soups, and food safety preparation.
• Foodsafe Certificate is an asset.
• Well-rounded in all areas of the kitchen with knowledge of sauces, and line cooking.
• Solid leadership and training skills.
• Cool and calm under pressure with a determined work ethic and a positive attitude.
