Position : Accounting and Payroll Administrator Location : North York (at least twice a week in office - Mondays and Tuesdays) Salary : $30 to $34 per hour Job Type : Temporary - 2 months to start with possibility of extension Our client is looking for an Accounting and Payroll Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis.
Responsibilities : - Review monthly preauthorized payments report, update residents' bank information. - Perform detailed monthly reviews of AR report for payment and charge accuracy.
- Post invoices and issue payment cheques for assigned accounts. - Reconcile vendor statements, resolving discrepancies.
- Record payroll journal entries and month-end accruals. - Maintain reconciliation of payroll-related and revenue accounts.
- Process payroll in Dayforce and issue Record of Employment (ROE). Requirements : - At least three years' comprehensive accounting experience, emphasizing accounts receivable and payable management.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Finance, or Accounting. - Proficient in online banking platforms for managing preauthorized transactions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel. - Working knowledge of the Accounting software Dayforce a strong asset.
- Self starter who is comfortable taking initiative. - Willingness to work at the office as needed, typically 2 times per week (Monday and Tuesday).
