MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Multi-Family Project Manager in Calgary.
Our client is a midsized construction firm based in Calgary, and places a strong emphasis on design, safety, and craftsmanship in its decision-making process.

Responsibilities :
- Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes, and handling project close-out procedures, including final inspection and building occupancy.
- Establish and manage construction budgets and schedules, determine necessary equipment, materials, and manpower, keep track of inventory, tools, and equipment, and allocate resources to ensure availability throughout the project.
- Support construction management administration of trade contracts and scopes of work, establish all construction procedures and control templates, negotiate with vendors on contract agreements, and maintain control logs for trade contract submittals, changes, and tenders.
- Keep stakeholders informed of project progress through regular reports, prepare job status reports, and collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and key team members.
- Resolve any problems that arise, evaluate risks, ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered on schedule, and handle any environmental or local community issues.
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses from authorities, conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards, and ensure all deadlines are met.
Requirements :
- 5+ years experience as a Project Manager specializing in 4-6 story apartment-style buildings or led 2 full multifamily wood-frame projects from start to finish.
- Demonstrated track record in managing residential construction projects.
- Strong tech proficiency and adaptability to utilize technology effectively in project management.
