Job Title : Continuous Improvement / Quality Coordinator

Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement / Quality Coordinator to oversee process improvement and project management.

The ideal candidate will identify constraints, propose solutions, implement changes, and train staff to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

They will collaborate with team members to document and report on progress, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects across departments using lean, Six Sigma, and theory of constraints principles.
  • Develop and implement office and manufacturing best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and reduce waste.
  • Train employees on new processes and improvement techniques.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present progress reports and recommendations to upper management.
  • Support Quality Systems by developing and maintaining quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Participate in internal and external QMS audits and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on quality metrics and process improvements.

Reporting Relationship : Reports To : Quality System & HR Manager

Key Performance Indicators (KPI) :

  • Reduction of total Corrective Actions from the previous year
  • Year-over-year reduction in cost of quality as a percentage of total sales

Working Environment : Office and manufacturing floor environment

Education, Experience & Personal Characteristics :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in lean or Six Sigma projects
  • Internal auditing certificate
  • Quality Management Certificate / Diploma
  • Familiarity with the theory of constraints methodology
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, 5S, SMED)
