Our client, a very well-known Tech company is looking to hire a Principal Cloud Developer / Architect to join the team in creating industry-disruptive software.

Your New Role :

This pivotal role involves designing and executing technical enhancements and changes to our products. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of cloud-based software architecture, as well as have the technical expertise and proven experience to implement these designs into scalable and efficient solutions.

Lead Cloud Architecture Initiatives : Serve as the primary architect for designing and building cloud-based solutions, focusing on leveraging AWS services to meet our strategic objectives.

You will spearhead the development of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.

Hands-On Development and Implementation : While you will lead the architecture efforts, your role also involves hands-on development.

You'll be directly involved in coding, deploying, and testing our solutions, ensuring they align with our architectural blueprints and industry best practices.

Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with other software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define system specifications, and integrate feedback into the development process.

Your leadership in architecture does not mean working in isolation; instead, it's about fostering a collaborative environment where your expertise guides the team towards innovative solutions.

• Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing : As a key architect, you'll mentor junior team members, share your knowledge on best practices in cloud architecture and development, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Drive Innovation and Continuous Improvement : Keep abreast of the latest cloud technologies and industry trends. You will be expected to recommend innovative solutions and improvements to our current processes and technologies, enhancing our agility and ability to serve our clients effectively.

What You’ll Need To Succeed :

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience with architecting and developing cloud-native software
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and design patterns
• Strong expertise and experience with AWS; particularly Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, CloudFormation and EventBridge
• Leadership in design and execution of product development
• Exceptional analytical, written and verbal communication skills
