MilliporeSigma has been selling water purification systems for over 50 years. We are the Market Leader for selling point-of-use systems for Type I, Type II and Type III applications.

Our markets include ANY laboratory that needs purified water. The Account manager will be responsible for selling MilliporeSigma water purification systems, consumables, & service.

Accounts can include universities, medical schools, environmental, food & beverage and testing laboratories, pharmaceutical labs.

This is a full-time, field-based sales position with Milli-Q® Lab Water Solutions at MilliporeSigma. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the sale of the company’s Milli-Q® Lab Water product and service portfolio through both direct and distribution channels and be driven to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets established by Area Management.

The role requires development and maintenance of solid working relationships with identified distributors, the ability to efficiently manage a sales territory through planned coverage and follow-up of key accounts and a high level of technical and application knowledge utilized in a manner which will add value to our products and services while promoting and maintaining customer allegiance.

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic sales representative who will sell MilliporeSigma Water Purification Systems, Consumables and Services to a wide range of laboratories and is driven, wants to succeed and wants to take care of his / her customers.

Location : The ideal candidate will be physically located in the Montreal metropolitan area.Travel : 50% Ottawa region, Quebec, & the Maritimes Who You Are : Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree 5+ years customer facing or sales experience in Life Science marketFluent in English and French, written and spoken3+ years of previous water purification selling, or servicing experience Preferred QualificationsLooking for candidate that is highly organized that can manage his / her territory in an efficient manner and who can keep up with the demands of this job, such as answering voicemails and emails in a timely manner, planning customer visits, working with our service group, keeping up with leads and quotes, and sometimes dealing with anxious customers and their various demands.

Familiarity with laboratory applications and testing to include instrumentation.Familiarity with the clinical marketspaceJob requires some lifting of equipment, ability to walk halls, Product show display, driving through territory to visit accounts.

Territory includes Ottawa region, Quebec, & the Maritimes (50%). Overnight travel will be required. Previous coverage of territory (full or partial) is advantageous.

Basic computer skills and understanding of WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT is paramount to job success. Previous SalesForce.Com experience highly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience en contact avec la clientèle ou en vente sur le marché des sciences de la vie.
  • Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français, écrit et parlé
  • Plus de 3 ans d'expérience dans la vente ou l'entretien de systèmes de purification d'eau Qualifications préférées
  • À la recherche d'un candidat très organisé, capable de gérer son territoire de manière efficace et capable de répondre aux exigences de ce poste, telles que répondre aux messages vocaux et aux courriels dans les meilleurs délais, planifier les visites des clients, travailler avec notre service.
