What You’ll Do
- Lead & Implement : Provide expert clinical guidance to therapists and staff, overseeing effective program implementation that aligns with best-practice standards and fosters a collaborative, growth-focused clinical environment.
- Develop & Shape : Design and evaluate materials, modules, and programs to support our cutting-edge, best-practice care that is informed by clinic and community data and advances the clinic’s strategic plan.
- Research and Improve : Ensure the clinic maintains cutting-edge, data-driven standards for our clinical programming and internal Learning Management System.
- Provide Psychotherapy Services : Offer psychotherapy to individuals, and ideally, couples and families.
- Innovate & Collaborate : Lead and collaborate with a dynamic team of therapists, sharing insights and strategies to continually enhance our services and outcomes.
- Empower Clinicians : Provide exceptional supervision and mentorship to a team of practicum students and therapists, guiding them in delivering top-notch therapy services.
- Grow & Thrive : Benefit from ongoing professional development opportunities, including specialized training and leadership development.
What We’re Looking For
- Licensed Therapist : Hold a valid license in psychotherapy, social work, or psychology and be an approved CRPO supervisor.
- Experience & Expertise : Demonstrated experience in providing therapy services to individuals, couples, and families, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices such as Gottman, DBT, EMDR, and all the goodies.
- Compassion & Empathy : A genuine desire to help others and a deep commitment to client-centered care.
- Team Leader : Ability to confidently lead and collaborate effectively with colleagues, contributing to a supportive and thriving team environment.
- Technology Knowledge : Has knowledge and ability to use Google Suite, Jane, Zoom, and office products.
Background Requirements
- Masters or Doctorate in Counseling Psychology, Social Work or Related Field : The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related field, be registered with CRPO or OCSWSSW and be an approved Clinical Supervisor.
- Expertise in Trauma Therapy : Certification in EMDR and familiarity with integrative trauma approaches.
- Clinical Expertise in Gottman Therapy, DBT, and Other Relevant Evidence-Based Therapies.
- Proven Experience in Program Development : Design, and evaluation within a mental health or psychotherapy environment.
- Knowledge of Quality Improvement Methodologies : Outcome measurement, and KPIs for psychotherapy practice.
- Commitment to Evidence-Based Practice and alignment with Talk Therapy Canada’s mission and values.
- Language Proficiency : Excellent English language skills are necessary. Knowledge of additional languages is very welcome!
