ONIT ENERGY LTD.  is a growing wholesale energy provider. As the first point of contact for internal and external customers, this role is to create a welcoming environment for the organization. In this role, you will represent the company professionally and ensure a cheerful and efficient presence at reception. If you are a mature, motivated, and energetic individual, we’d like to meet you.

What will you do :

  • Minimum 5+ years' Reception, Office Administrative experience
  • Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area
  • Provide administrative support as requested through Executive Administrative Department
  • Manage incoming calls with a polite and professional tone, while answering promptly, directing calls to the correct party
  • Maintain guest logs
  • Maintain efficiency within the office by establishing the best policies, standards, and procedures for their company or department
  • Focus on organizational processes, keeping our office running efficiently by providing employees with resources, tools, and company-wide initiatives that boost overall employee morale
  • Collect and sort mail and packages – Canada Post, couriers, FedEx, Purolator
  • Kitchen supplies : order / re-stock weekly, put supplies away, keep kitchen tidy and run dishwasher daily
  • Maintain Office Supplies; place orders, inventory
  • Other tasks as requested
  • Business hours are 8 : 30am – 5 : 00pm Monday to Friday

What do you bring :

  • Minimum of 5+ years of administrative or related experience
  • Post-secondary certificate / diploma in an administrative or business field is preferred.
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Track record of stability and reliability
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
  • Flexibility to multi-task and meet deadlines and changing priorities
  • Ability to work in a team environment with strong collaborative skills
  • Ability to learn new systems and adapt to change quickly
  • Use initiative with minimal supervision
  • First Aid Certification an asset
