Job descriptionForestry experience strongly preferred : familiarity with forestry operations, cost management, or inventory tracking is a significant asset. Minimum 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience. Ability to commute to Squamish or West Vancouver offices. CPA designation or active pursuit preferred (candidates not pursuing CPA will also be considered). Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and advanced MS Excel skills. Strong understanding of IFRS and Canadian accounting principles. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

About the Role
Position : Accountant
3 days in office, 2 days work from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts receivable / payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
- Track inventory, manage costs, and ensure compliance with IFRS standards, particularly in the forestry sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial issues and provide data-driven insights.
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations and prepare statutory reports.
- Support month-end / year-end close processes and conduct audits to ensure accuracy.
