À propos du rôle

Tu seras appelé(e) à travailler directement avec le Directeur Artistique et l’équipe de concept afin de définir la bible graphique et les règles de créations visuelles pour les différents projets en cours.

De plus, tu travailleras en étroite collaboration avec les différentes équipes créatives d’une production de jeu afin de les supporter en fournissant une direction visuelle et propositions créatives pour amener le produit à un niveau supérieur.

Responsabilités

Déterminer avec tes collègues le contenu des illustrations;

Esquisser rapidement plusieurs propositions des éléments mandatés (personnages, objets, environnements) par le Directeur artistique;

Effectuer des peintures numériques détaillées des matériaux, couleurs et lumières ainsi que des peintures numériques détaillées sur des modèles 3D (paint Over);

Produire des fiches de rotation illustrées pour des éléments lorsque necessaire et des story-boards pour aider à la conception des scènes en 3D.

Exigences

Expérience pertinente en illustration et / ou en design conceptuel;

Être aux études avec une possibilité de stage dans un diplôme connexe;

Capacité et intérêt à travailler autant dans un style très réaliste;

Connaissance approfondie de l’anatomie, de la perspective, de l’architecture et du design industriel;

Compréhension de la couleur, de la composition et de l’éclairage et capacité à s’adapter à plusieurs styles artistiques;

Excellente connaissance de Photoshop;

Expérience en story-board et bonne connaissance en 3D;

Souci du détail et bonne rapidité d’exécution;

Passion pour le jeu vidéo, plus particulièrement FPS / Call of Duty.

About the role

You will work directly with the Art Director and concept team to develop the graphic bible and the rules of visual creation for the different ongoing projects at the studio.

You will also work closely with the creative teams assigned to game production, supporting them with visual direction and creative ideas that will take the product to the next level.

Responsibilities

Work with colleagues on illustration content;

Produce quick sketches for proposals of elements (characters, objects, environments) required by the Art Director;

Do detailed digital painting of materials, colours and lights as well as 3D models (paint over);

Produce illustrated rotation sheets for elements and story boards to assist with 3D scene design.

Requirements

Proven experience in illustration and / or conceptual design;

To be studying, with an internship possibility, in Concept art or a related field;

Ability and interest to work in a very realist style;

Detailed knowledge of anatomy, perspective, architecture and industrial design;

Understanding of colour, composition and lighting and able to adapt to several artistic styles;

Proficiency in Photoshop;

Experience with story boards and experience with 3D;

Attention to detail and speed of execution;

Passion for video gaming, in particular FPS / Call of Duty.
