Our client operating in the green energy industry is seeking an Accounting and Office Manager to assist in the set up and management of their new Calgary office.
This individual will be joining a well established international entity as a part of their brand new Canadian team. Required is quick thinking and the ability to trouble shoot effectively while tending to the day-to-day operational tasks of the office.
The ideal candidate will be spirited and possess a start-up mentality, with a keen eye for the details and exceptional organizational skills.
They will be flexible and adaptable in nature, and able to shift priorities at any given time.

Duties and Responsibilities :
The key job functions are :
- Oversee the daily operations of the office while offering administrative support to the executive team (travel arrangements, expenses, etc.)
- Manage office supplies, equipment and filing systems
- Plan and facilitate company events, meetings, and appointments
- Provide accounting support with benefit administration, accounts payable(AP) / accounts receivable (AR), financial reports, and budgets
- Other duties as assigned
Education :
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Qualifications :
- Successfully complete a criminal background check
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Teams, etc.)
Experience :
- Minimum - years of accounting, financial management or bookkeeping experience is required (specifically AP, AR, payroll and general ledger)
- Experience in an administrative or office management role is required
- Experience in the electricity sector and / or renewable energy or land administration sector is an asset
