Develop requirements for a Cloud Security / Zero Trust Implementation partner to align with Cloud Security (SASE) Strategy.
Support the selection process of the Cloud Security / Zero Trust partner based on identified requirements utilizing an RFP process
Develop Cloud Security / Zero Trust Architecture :
Build Cloud Security / Zero Trust Architecture based on requirements and Cloud Security Strategy
Support Implementation of Cloud Security / Zero Trust (SASE) Services :
Work with the selected implementation partner to procure and support implementation of Cloud Security / Zero Trust (SASE) Services for the scope of the planned project. This will include creating supporting deliverables.
Support planning for future rollout of additional Cloud Security / Zero Trust (SASE) Services which may require updates to the related strategy and roadmap
Help define organizational changes required to support Zero Trust and work with organizational change management / communications team to develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan to support organizational changes.
Support alignment of strategic initiatives with the Cloud Security / Zero Trust Architecture which may include :
Consulting on the solution
Providing input to related initiative’s architecture to ensure alignment to Zero Trust Architecture
Define and advance other Cloud Security Items, which could include :
Secrets management strategy
Cloud related IAM strategies
Azure Cloud Security Architecture
What you must have :
Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT with several years’ experience in Cybersecurity roles and / or discipline. Specific experience with cloud security and cloud platforms like Azure (preferably), AWS, or Google Cloud is valued.
Demonstrated leadership experience, working independently and within a team environment.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically about cloud security issues
Experience with common IT architectural frameworks (TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman, SABSA, etc.).
Experience with RFI / RFP and TCO.
Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing principles and architecture.
Knowledge of encryption techniques, identity management, and access controls specific to cloud environments.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in cloud security, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CSA Cloud Controls Matrix, and CIS Benchmarks.
Industry-recognized certifications in cloud security and cybersecurity are an asset. Some of these include :
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
Microsoft Certified : Azure Security Engineer Associate.
