Our client, a leader in the Education industry, is looking for a Senior Oracle e-Business Analyst for an initial 3 -4 month part-time contract to help support their Oracle EBS Database upgrade project.

Senior Oracle e-Business Analyst will be a key contributor to the upgrade / migration of Oracle E-business Suite and the supporting database from version 12c to 19c.

Advantages

  • HYBRID : This is a hybrid position that may primarily be remote (within Ontario), the candidate may be expected to be on campus for workshops and other meetings.
  • This is a part-time role that can be done partly outside of core business hours ( between 7.5 and 22 business hours per week)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

  • Planning, testing, implementation, and validation of the upgrade / migration
  • Research to inform impact analysis and contributing to test plans
  • A key contributor to the comprehensive upgrade / migration plan
  • Helping to define test cases and acceptance criteria, and executing test cases to confirm the performance and stability of the new environment

    • Qualifications

    Over 8 years of technical experience with Oracle E-business Suite working with General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payables, and Purchasing modules as well as iProcurement and WebADI

  • Advanced experience with the EBS infrastructure stack and tools including OHS, WebLogic, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Database 12c and 19c, PL / SQL
  • Very strong experience in supporting, upgrading, migrating, and implementing Oracle financial solutions
  • Strong experience with backup / recovery and cloning practices.

    • Strong Linux administration skills including shell scripting, instrumentation, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting

  • Experience with business clients, working with them to define their needs and developing solutions to meet those needs in the Oracle system
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. as they will have significant interaction with the clients in Financial Services, application teams, other CCS team members, and Management

    • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, follow change-management policies, and meet project timelines

  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience utilizing organizational change management principles and approaches.

    • Senior resource with ability to deliver quickly in short time frame.

  • Quality of delivery guarantee where no ramp up is required on the technologies especially ones specified above. Need to be able to deliver immediately upon starting.

  • Facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills.

    • Flexible and able to adapt project planning to meet stakeholder and leadership needs.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with demonstrated ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal, decision making, and teamwork skills as well as a strong client focus.
  • Experience with using Microsoft Azure Dev Ops for project tracking and traceability, is desirable.
  • Experience working in the higher education and the financial industry sector is highly valued.
  • An undergraduate (master’s degree preferred) in Information Technology or Computer Science / Engineering related field , plus at least ten (10) years’ related development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
