Reporting to the Regional Director, Scheduling Services, the Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects or initiatives for designated programs or services within Northern Health (NH). Projects may involve process improvement and work redesign, productivity reviews, business analysis, technology implementation, staff deployment, implementation of capital equipment and the provision of strategic information to support those processes. Working with stakeholders at all levels, the Project Manager inspires others to achieve goals and deliverables through facilitation, effective communication of corporate vision, and ensuring the culture is one in which individual competencies can thrive. The Project Manager provides expertise, education, and coaching to designated project staff as required. The incumbent works closely with the Project Sponsors and project team to address the impact of any change to ensure an effective and efficient transition. The Project Manager follows established guidelines and standards within Northern Health for project management. The incumbent liaises with consultants, vendors, other health care entities, and other external agencies to negotiate contracts for the provision of goods and services as required.

Starting salary will be approximately from $88,990 to $111,237 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
