Position : Wood Department / Machine Operator

Location : West Ottawa

Salary : $20.50 per hour

Shift : Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m.

Job Type : Temporary to permanent

Are you skilled at working with wood and hand tools? Do you have experience operating machinery in a warehouse or production facility? Then we have the position for you. Our West-end client is looking for reliable candidates to work on a full-time day shift.

Details Position Summary :

• Coordinate production order planning to ensure on time delivery
• Delegate work requirements to department team members
• Teach and train department team members using BEST practices and processes
• Liaise with other departments, Customer Service, Purchasing and Management
• Maintain a clean safe working area 6. Use of various nail guns, staple guns, drills and other wood assembly tools
• Use of CNC router to cut various products
• Nail, glue and staple wood, corrugated, foam and plastic products
• Use operating system to create tags and manage inventory
• Maintain Canadian Wood Pallet Cert Program, quality or other department reports
• Count inventory
• Perform all other tasks assigned by Operations Manager
