Position Overview
This position will report directly to the Capital Projects / Facility Manager and responsible for the routine maintenance and repairs of all Churchill RHA property and equipment. Recommend appropriate repairs or maintenance plan of action when tasks or assignments appear to be beyond local capacity. Log repairs, notes and reports potential or new repairs. Assists in preventative maintenance program.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a part of a maintenance team an asset.
Education (Degree / Diploma / Certificate)
Minimum Grade twelve education or equivalency.Certification / Licensure / Registration
Valid Driver’s License necessary.Qualifications and Skills
Ability to perform routine maintenance on all building, equipment and grounds owned and operated by the CRHA.Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices and environment.Working knowledge of Fire and Building Codes.Pro-active problem-solving skills, and demonstrated ability to operate on own initiative.Good oral and written communication skills.Must be available to take twenty-four hour on-call.Able to work independently and as a member of a team.Understanding of confidentiality and its importance.Physical Requirements
