What does one (perfect) workday look like?
The Allocation & System Support Sr. Analyst supports the Clearly Distribution Center Operations by resolving issues, improving processes, and maintaining systems with the vision of providing uninterrupted support to operations. The Analyst is responsible for all SAP Warehouse Management system support activities and allocation. He / She will be responsible for monitoring and resolving tickets created on the SharePoint within the set timeline. The Analyst coordinates with end users to identify the issue and solve it in a timely manner without causing any delay for operations. The Analyst also will serve as local reference point to fulfil portfolio management requests received from commercial teams.
- Builds superb understanding of the SAP WM system in efforts to :
- Identify and develop solutions within SAP WM toolset to address business requirements.
- Provide functional specification documents where enhancements are needed.
- Adhere to standard process defined for change management, SOP sign off and go-live.
- Develop relationships with end users, supervisors, and managers in operations and other business areas in the DC. Strong communication skills required.
- Serves as the liason between all the different logistics departments - operations, engineering, customer support and bridge the gap with IT.
- Checks over the nightly and bihourly automatic jobs of allocation and delivery creation to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Timely reviews the portfolio of sales orders to ensure correct processing and troubleshoots in case of issues.
- Fulfills portfolio management requests received from commercial teams.
- Performs root cause analysis for SAP WM / MM related issues, work with IT and business partners to coordinate and resolve at root cause level.
- Assists in UAT, user training, and documentation as and when required.
- Learns and understands business area processes and operating models; translates business needs into new technologies / applications, and performs high-level troubleshooting.
- Employs techniques to capture requirements e.g. business process mapping / modeling, As-Is / To-Be business process analysis, business process reengineering and adherence to defined standard processes.
- Develops and prepares Standard Operating Procedures for end users, exception users, and system support users.
