What You Will Get To Do :
Processing and reporting investor transactions including subscriptions, redemptions and transfers and the associated money movementReviewing and approving Anti-Money Laundering tests pursuant to US and Cayman regulationsReviewing and approving due diligence documents for fund investorsReviewing, understanding and having the ability to discuss governing documents for hedge fund clientsInteracting with hedge fund principals and their investorsCommunicating with internal groups such as accounting, operations, legal and compliance with respect to transaction processing, billing etc.Reviewing the share register database to ensure that all activity is completed accurately and on timeCoordinating the setup of new funds on the share registry systemResponding to investor audit related inquiriesProviding periodic reports and feedback to Investor Services management on a multitude of investor services topics, client issues and department initiativesAssisting with the training of investor services staffWhat You Will Bring :
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field5+ years’ experience in investor services or related field (financial services / fund administration, corporate communications, portfolio management, or securities analysis) and a strong familiarity with the workings of the capital marketsMust be fully bilingual (English and French)A thorough knowledge of Fund Structures and all aspects of the services provided by an Investor Services DepartmentKnowledge of AML / KYC compliance for US and CaymanProven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsSolid client relationship management skillsSS&C Technologies Canada Corp. fosters a positive, equitable and progressive workforce and is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
