Our client is seeking a Senior ERP (SAP) Specialist to work on a large, complex, multi-year initiative for SAP ERP Implementation

Start Date : As soon as possible

Length of term : 12 months with possibility of extension

Work schedule : 40 hours / week

Work mode : Hybrid (Remote work 3 days / week and in-office presence 2 days / week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Oakville)

Must Haves

  • 10 years direct experience managing large scale ERP projects preferably in SAP .
  • Experience with Material Planning and Inventory Optimization (IO) .
  • Experience with SAP FTP - Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • 10 years of experience with hands-on experience; preferably working in a structured business and technical environment.
  • Experience in leading enterprise-level or large-scale projects or programs involving multiple business teams.

Responsibilities

  • ERP Specialist will be responsible for Inventory Optimization and Material Planning functions (ensuring timely availability of critical materials).
  • Work closely with supply chain, procurement and manufacturing team for cross-functional processes and interdependencies, assess the KPIs.
  • Optimize procurement, inventory management (overstocking, stockouts), and material planning processes.
  • Business processes analysis, implementation, testing, training, and support.
  • Analyze systems for Data Elements usage, ensure timely delivery of master data and monitor data quality and consistency overall material group.
  • Also support training development and delivery to business functions as well as set up planning views for this group.
  • Develop plans and test SAP IBP solution to ensure readiness for overall solution deployment for go-live.
  • Support Cutover plan development.
  • Obtain knowledge transition from system integrators and prepare for post go-live support / hyper-care.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings as needed.
