Agilus is recruiting for a Marketing & Business Development Manager in the Oil&Gas Industry in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta.
We are seeking someone with a technical knowledge and background that understands the EPC world. Experience with fabrication and construction, would be an asset.
Work for a company with an established history of successfully delivering projects in oil and gas for almost 20 years. Clients range from large Tier 1 Oil & Gas organizations to small engineering firms.

Accountabilities :
- Seek new business opportunities by leveraging and developing relationships with potential clients (target clients).
- Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails.
- Ongoing client entertainment (lunches, sporting events, concerts, industry events etc.).
- Develop strategy for client event sponsorship and attendance (ex. golf tournament hole sponsorships etc.).
- Support execution of strategic plan for business development (how will EPFC pursue new opportunities).
- Set-up meetings / presentations / lunch and learns between potential clients and EPFC discipline leads to extensively communicate EPFC capabilities and experience.
- Oversee and ensure delivery of high-quality proposals including Request for Proposals (RFPs), Expression of Interest (EOI), Request for Quotations (RFQs) etc.

Requirements :
- Degree in a related discipline or technical diploma from post-secondary institution
- 5-8 years of previous professional service sales cycles in an EPC environment in the domestic oil and gas industry is an asset.
- 10+ years of relevant client relations experience
- Technical knowledge with strong understanding of engineering, fabrication and construction would be preferred
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow client relationships and resulting business volume
