Personal Support Assistant Job DescriptionPosition : Personal Support AssistantLocation : Peterborough, ONJob Type : In-Home and Community Personal Support AssistantSalary : $18.00 or negotiable based on experienceHours : Approximately 15 - 20 hrs per weekPosition to be filled immediately Job Summary : We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Assistant to provide hands-on support with daily living activities. This role involves assisting with personal care, household tasks, and overall well-being, ensuring a comfortable and dignified environment for the individual receiving care. Key Responsibilities : Personal Care & Well-being :

• Monitor health conditions and medication reminders.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and engagement in activities. Household Support :
• Assist with meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
• Light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying, and organizing.
• Run errands such as grocery shopping, pharmacy visits, and appointments with individual Daily Assistance & Routine Management :
• Help establish and maintain a structured daily routine.
• Assist with scheduling and reminders for important tasks or events. Qualifications & Skills :
• Previous experience in personal support, caregiving, or a related role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR (preferred but not required). Work Environment & Expectations :
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
• Respect for confidentiality and personal boundaries.
