We are currently recruiting a permanent Regional Accounting Manager for our Burnaby based manufacturing client.

As the Regional Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of our operations within a designated region.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions and managing a team of four accountants.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise a team of four designated accountants in the region.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets in compliance with IFRS.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
- Provide guidance and support to local finance teams on technical accounting matters and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of audit findings.
The Successful Candidate :
- Designated CPA.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing sector.
- Strong experience with financial reporting under IFRS.
- Previous experience managing a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
