This individual will directly support growth activities across the Toronto and New York City offices of Forsman & Bodenfors. This role reports to the Director of Business Development, who is based in New York City, and will sit with the Business Partnerships team in Toronto. The salary for the Business Development Manager will be in the CAD$50K-$60K range.Learn more about careers and culture at Forsman & Bodenfors on our website at www.Forsman.Com / peopleWhat will it entail?Playing a support role in orchestrating development of new-business pitches Jumping into new business opportunities quickly and effectively Leading RFP development in collaboration with agency teams Acting as the liaison between potential client and our agency teams Supporting Business Development efforts in building project plans, timelines, and deliverables through consulting with key stakeholders and team leads Drafting communications to teams detailing deliverables based on client calls, focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group i.E. clear details, timelines, and expectations Conducting research on the competitive landscape of potential clients, consolidate and present findings to internal team Ensuring all work is client-ready by paying close attention to detail Who are we looking for?Approximately 1-3 years of related Business Development / Account Management or Project Management in an advertising agency or similar industry / environmentDemonstrated track record of client relationship developmentAbility to add structure and process when project plan is unclear / undefined Ability to put conversations into action and keep projects moving forwardExcellent communication, writing, and organizational skills Ability to balance multiple projects at once and prioritize based on needs and timelines Resourcefulness and flexibility Positive outlook and good interpersonal skills We are currently following a hybrid work model and come together in our Toronto office 3x a week (Tuesdays thru Thursdays).
